Calling all baseball fans!  JETAA is once again selling tickets for a Chicago Cubs home game!

Join JETAA members as we cheer on our Cubs from the bleachers!

JETAA has 50 tickets for sale for the game on:

Saturday, May 1st at 12:05 PM. The Cubs versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Our tickets are for seats on the Upper Deck, Aisle 504, Rows 5-9.

Tickets are $20 each, limit 2 per JETAA member.

These tickets are sure to sell out. Therefore, all JETAA members have first priority. Remaining tickets will later be available for all friends and family to JETAA members.

Price and date of availability for tickets for non-JETAA members will be announced later.

JETAA will arrange where and when to meet for pre/post partying. More information on these spots to be announced.  Look forward to it!

Saturday, April 17, 6:00PM

We will have an hour and a half for practicing, setting up doubles teams, and eating:

6:00 PM — Practice, Pizza, Setting up Doubles Teams

7:30 PM — Tournament Starts

*Most likely tournament will end around 10 or 11 PM.

*Afterwards: Free play and Partying

Chicago JETAA and the Chi-Slam Table Tennis Club (http://www.chislamclub.com/) are pairing up to host a ping pong doubles tournament, and you’re invited!

The location is the club’s new practice facility on 1647 W. Chicago Ave. The building is easily accessible by CTA Bus 66 (Chicago Ave) as well as CTA Bus 9 (Ashland Ave).

There is metered parking on Chicago Ave. Right in front of the building, as well as ample street parking directly North.

Depending on how many RSVP, we will reserve anywhere from 5 to 10 tables!

The more players, the more fun! Invite your friends!

Information on the rental fee for the tables and paddles will come as RSVPs are tallied, and are sure to be very reasonable. Also:

Plenty of drinks, snacks, pizza and alcohol will be available for sale!

Warm up and formation of doubles teams will start at 6:00 PM (though doors open at 11 AM and anyone is welcome), and continue for an hour – hour and a half.

Before the tournament begins, Chi-Slam club members (who will help referee the tournament) will give us a ping pong demonstration and talk a bit about tournament rules!

The tournament begin and end time will depend on how many join. Information will come soon.

There’s a very special holiday coming up, and JETAA would like to celebrate it with you.

St. Patrick’s Day? No, why White Day of course!

One month after Valentines’ Day, March 14th, is the day in Japan for men to give gifts (typically white chocolate or marshmallows) to their counterparts to show appreciation for the Valentine’s Day gifts given that year.

Come celebrate White Day at San Soo Gab San, a delicious Korean-style yakiniku restaurant in Lincoln Square. No sweets are required, just healthy appetites.

To arrive by CTA Red Line, please stop at Berwyn and take the 92 bus going East (It will curve around immediately).

To arrive by CTA brown line, please stop at Western and take the 49B or 49 bus going north.
